Abstract
The New York State legislature recently passed managed care legislation that will serve as an excellent tool for health advocates as we work both within and outside of the new systems of care. Nick-named the "Managed Care Bill of Rights," the legislation amends the Public Health and Insurance laws to provide a variety of protections to enrollees.
